Please choose a clear high quality image of your pet. I encourage making the effort to take a picture of your dog on a nice sunny day, make it fun and get a few to choose from, get the camera down to there eye level, this helps with the perspective and placement of features, if you happen to already have professional pictures of your pet I would strongly advise using them. I only paint from the neck up with a plain colour background of your choosing. I can advise on colours that will compliment the pet if you are unsure.
